Blossom Parties are a celebration in a box. As girls transition from girl to young woman, Blossom Parties is there to celebrate and educate during the transition. Over a series of phases, we have rebranded Blossom Parties into a cohesive brand using visuals as well as voice to share in this life transforming moment.
We have been working in the following phases:
Phase One: Branding
Blossom Parties celebrates young women transitioning into womanhood, but the company would like to eventually have boxes celebrating pregnant women, new mothers, peri-menopausal, and menopausal women. Because of this, a mark should also reflect women in all of the different phases of their lives. The Triple Goddess Symbol represents three main phases:
waxing moon – represents The Maiden who symbolizes innocence, growth, freeness, and purity
full moon – represents The Mother who symbolizes fertility, maturity, and sexuality
waning moon – represents The Crone who includes both of the previous stages but additionally includes independence, courage, wisdom, and perseverance.
By rearranging the elements of the Triple Goddess Symbol and combining them to make the blossom, we have a mark that is both simple and symbolic and has the same weight and feel as the word mark.
Phase Two: Packaging
BRIEF: Using the identity items, develop a system for the packaging outside and inside the First Period Box. The final product should:
• be an experience from the point the box is held in your hands to the time it is opened and the party begins
• showcase items that represent unified packaging so each item can stand alone but also work together
• items convey sophistication and elegance

Zine Cover
The zine cover for Bloom Freely: A young woman's guide to her body, changes, and other magical things was designed using both analog and digital illustration. By using mixed media, you have a textured, visually interesting design that is playful and calls to the wilds of youth.
